Today I did layout on the Rune encounter sourcebook Enter the Viking (GET IT? It's a PUN on that Bruce Lee movie? *Sigh* Nothing will ever match Couching Wizard, SMASHING HAMMER for a title!!!), and I read another chapter (OKAY, it was only HALF a chapter for gosh sake!) of our Nyambe: African Adventures sourcebook. Talk about a monster ... the thing is HUGE! Chock full of crunch goodness, though! The most interesting part of my day was when I got a desperate email from Scott around 6 pm, begging me to call his dad who's on vacation in Hawaii because Qwest turned off his cell phone because for "suspicious activity." (Scott, WHAT were you doing to that poor phone?) He needed his dad's social security number to convince Qwest that he wasn't some desperado cell-phone hijacker, apparently. SOOooo ... his parents get a call to their hotel room from some woman they've never heard of before, asking for his dad's social security number. After convincing his mom that I wasn't a telephone solicitor or some kind of phone scam, Scott got his phone back on. And they all lived happily ever after .. Michelle Nephew
