The main advantage of attuning to Feng-Shui sites is supposed to be the ability to get the population to support you. Of course, this is how the factions control their juncture.

Now, players and antagonists attuned to one (or more) Feng-Shui site should be able to benefit from this advantage in their local neighbourhood. Do you ever use this advantage in play?

For example, the players could use the power of Feng-Shui (by direct control and alliance) to sway the locals to actively support them against the neighbourhood gangs.

Could do, but itwork only really work on the local level.

I've used this as a good hook for introducing new players; the good Chi flow nudges someone to the site whom would make a good ally.

Hmm... It was meant to be only the major Feng Shui sites that swayed your control over the minds and hearts of the populace, I thought. The beneficial effect of the minor sites' chi is strictly personal, making you more capable more quickly.

Then again, your idea's still a good one...

Hey, Queex: Have you ever read the Callahan's Place short stories and novels by Spider Robinson? Science fiction, mainly, but your postingmade me think that you could consider Callahan's Place (a bar hidden away of Rte 25A, Long Island from the early '70s until 1985-6) an example of a feng shui site, simply because of the way that, to paraphrase Chris McCubbin, "reality just works better there".

I haven't read them, but I'll look out for them. It reminds me of something else, too, but I can't put my finger on it.
