I got my copy of Thorns of the Lotus today. My preciousssss... I was severely tempted when I also saw that the store still has a copy of the gloriously colourful deluxe edition of Silver Age Sentinels, but I digress.

To my complete lack of surprise, the covers of the copies of Thorns in the store were warped. Obviously something general goes on, maybe in Canadian distributors, which keeps them too dry so that warping occurs. :(

We have found, to our chagrin, that this is a common problem.

Earlier this week the remaining stock in our warehouse was picked up by the printer for the humidifying treatment. This is little consolation for the copies that shipped immediately to the front lines. :(

I had them take back the remainder of Blood and Sand and give them the same treatment at the same time.

Well I do mean to try the "moisturizing" process you suggested when I was commenting on Splintered Peace. I just need, well, a sponge, and the right bit of cardboard. I imagine using paper would leave you with said paper stuck to the inside covers. :)
