Sigh. It turns out I'm not perfect after all (who'da thunk it). Chris Camfield spotted a mistake in the debate rules, and it's All My Fault. If you look carefully, you'll see that there is a line for "Eloquent Argument" in the political maneuvers table, but no Eloquent Argument in the listing of maneuvers. The reverse is true for "Reality Check". What happened is that the two maneuvers were very similar, and when I was trimming down to the final list I chose one of them (Eloquent Argument) -- and then deleted the wrong one in the text proper. Mechanically, it's not a huge deal, since as I said the two maneuvers were very similar. Most of the "Reality Check" text applies EXCEPT for one element -- it's too powerful as a half-action. The correct length for "Eloquent Argument" is a full action. If you like to write in your book, here's what to do. Go to page 116, cross out "Reality Check" and write in "Eloquent Argument". Then change "Length: Half-Action" to "Length: Action". If you don't like to write in your book, I've done up an errata label that I'm happy to send to readers and other retailers. Drop me a line at chris@spacecrime.com and I'll send some out to you. Hopefully there aren't any other significant goof-ups in there, but let me know if you find any! cheers, Chris Aylott Writer and Retailer http://www.spacecrime.com/
