Has anyone developed alternate chase rules than that in "Golden Comeback" or customized them? Especially the way, how Wreck checks are made when riding a motorcycle?

The rules are (p. 115):

"[...] When a PC's car or the car of a named character drops below Wreck 0, it's time to start making Wreck checks. This is a reflex check against the difference between 0 and the amount of Wreck damage the car has taken.[...]"

Guns do one point of Wreck. If a 1996 Yamaha Thunderace gets hit twice, the rider must make a check against a difficulty of 2. If a BMW 328i gets hit 8 times, the driver must make a check against a difficulty of 8.

I think it is not too difficult for the Velocity Addict on the motorbike to survive five or six hits, but what will remain of his proud after such a treatment? Maybe, the difficulty should be doubled or tripled?
The Velocity Addict inside the car might have more problems although is vehicle can accept more hits.

Or do I misunderstand the rules?

The paragraph goes on to say that Wreck Checks work "the same as Death Checks". So I think you're just looking at the math a bit incorrectly... it's not a reflex check against the -total- damage the vehicle has taken in the fight, it's against the damage the vehicle has taken *since it reached zero Wreck points*.

So, a motorcycle and a car will be making the same wreck checks, once they reach zero Wreck points. (In other words, a cycle and a car both reaching zero Wreck points in a sequence, and then taking one more bullet each, will both be making reflex checks against "1" point of Wreck from the bullet.)

That's how death check difficulty is figured, so your wreck checks will work the same.

Hope that helps.
