Hiya All !!:) In our game (well out of play, not in play) we have been wondering / killing time while some players turned up, on how a modern weaponry would work within the rules of the game. As in what would be it's INT / ATK / DAM, considering that with today's types of weaponry you are able to do single shots like a crossbowbut you would also be able to do bursts, but if it was a machine gun you would also be able to fully unload the clip on a single attack round, as well as what would the target get as a defence? So i was wondering what you may think on this subject, i know it isn't really Ars Magica or Mythic Europe, but when you think about a mage could enchant either a hand or heavy crossbow to do nearly the same type of features as today's weaponry! These are a couple of ideas that we came up with, so i would like to hear what you think and how you may modify them to be more realistic to a real gun, with no magic used. So far we have come up with a hand gun (Glock) & an Assault Riffle (MP5K), but as yet haven't come up with a Sniper Riffle: Glock Hand Gun: Load: 0 INT (Unprepared): +5 INT (Prepared): +8 ATK (Single Shot): +9 ATK (Burst): +10 Aimed: +5 Per Round. (Max 3 Rounds) Damage: +4 - +10 (Depending on type of Bullets Used) Pistol-whip Damage: +1 Fat MP5K Assault Riffle: Load: 1 INT (Unloaded): -5 INT (Safety On): +1 INT (Ready): +3 ATK (Single Shot): +4 ATK (Burst): +2 ATK (Auto): +0 ATK (Empty the Clip): -2 Defence: +0 Pistol-whip Damage: +3 Damage Per Bullet: +5 Range: Far (If hit is successful amount of bullets that hit) Single Shot = 1 Burst = 1D3 Bullets Auto = 1D30 Bullets Empty the Clip = 1D20 +10 Bullets Many Thanks Sir Parn, Prince of the Court of the Great White Oak, White Dragon Knight of France!!:)
