However, there are some wrinkles to work out... how to you handle Feng Shui sites in outer space or on other planets? Would aliens be supernatural creatures? Do the vehicle/chase rules have to be reworked for large-scale mecha combat?"

I've been toying with the idea of a space/ sci fi Feng Shui game for a while now. I figure, another juncture could certainly open to the far future simply enough. There's already almost 2,000 years between the 69AD and 2056 junctures, so why not a juncture to, say, 4,000AD?

And I figure, why couldn't the juncture open onto another planet? I doubt that Earth is the only celestial body to have 'shui sites. So, one wrong turn in the Netherworld for our intrepid heroes, and they suddenly find themselves on, oh, I dunno, a mining colony on a strange world in a solar system light years from home, run by aliens.

As far as space opera, well, that wouldn't be much different.

I've heard of these mysterious Star Wars/ Feng Shui conversions, but I've never actually seen any. I'd love to, if anyone knows where to find it.

At least two takes on Star Wars conversions plus many more cool ideas on the site 'Comrades in Arms' which can be found from the Atlas site, by following the 'Feng Shui Links' page.

Amongst other coolness are rules for Godzilla and his giant monster chums, Transformers and several versions of World of Darkness (Vampire, Werewolf, Wraith, etc.).

It says the site is part completed, but it has said that for about two years and not changed so there are some bits listed which are not done - which is a shame because the idea of a compendium of pop culture characters is a lot of fun.

Hope you find what you're after.

I kind of hope Will decides to release source books directed towards high-octane action that's not currently supported by FS- like space opera, pulp, high fantasy etc. Conversions to specific settings are all well and good, but I'd like something a bit more generic. Hell, I'd _write_ one given half the chance.

Me too if i had the time.

I love how simple Feng Shui is (rules-wise) compared to say AD&D and have managed to turn my hand to all sorts of characters, powers, scenarios, etc. over the years since the game first came out. It's quite adaptable to many things (try some survival horror eg. Romero zombie flicks and Resident Evil - I did it for a halloween special!).

I did also toy with a random scenario generator for a while but always used our time for our main games as opposed to one-shot adventures with pre-created characters.

Maybe we could see more of a 'support' book as you say, as opposed to an actual 'source' book, relating more to generic play under FS rules but without the secret war storyline ie, ideas i threw around with my players were horror, military and future military (Starship troopers, Aliens), obviously Pulp, maybe crime or law-enforcement based (Friends of the dragon has good ideas for those). Actually, if it's in a film then its probably fair game for FS (with the exception of romantic comedies of course).

I absolutely agree. I said on the old Gaming Outpost 'Shui forum once that if the Feng Shui rules had been around when I first started role playing games, I would have used them for every other game genre I play. You can do anything with those babies!
