am i right in assuming that if they dont make the diff, its ok?

or what... some one explain how this one works...

i know the diff is the difference between 35 and the amount of wounds... so lets say for instance that they have 45 wounds (difference is 10, thus 10 diff)

if they roll an 8 on their roll, what is the outcome?or would you then consider that -2?.... i really am a bit lost, because the book is a bit vague

It's pretty simple (that said, I hope I don't mistate anything). You make a Constitution check and have to have an Outcome of 0 or more to stay up.

As you say, if they have 45 wounds, the Difficulty is 10. If their Con + Roll is only 8, that is an outcome of -2 and they collapse. Outcome is always equal to the Action Result minus the Difficulty.

"An Outcome of -14 or less means immediate and instantaneous death....

"An Outcome of -13 to -1 means that the character collapses and will soon die unless some kiknd of intervention is made..."

I don't quite see how things could be clearer?

you indeed made them clearer than the book did.. its AV minus diff... good man..lol

which means that the 3 times the player had to do this, he would have died... he never met the diff..lol
