The text of First Aid reads: "Each FIRST AID is worth 2 counters, restored to the player who plays the card. You can play as many FIRST AID cards as you have in your hand on your turn. You can play FIRST AID (as many as you have) when another player attacks you only if the damage you otherwise take sends you to zero or fewer counters." I read "the damage you otherwise take" as meaning that if you play the First Aid, you're never actually sent to zero or fewer counters (which would mean dead and out of the game, and there's no mechanic for getting back in) -- the First Aid is a last minute intercession. So there is no death/resurrection -- and thus the Headlock is still in place (assuming the person who put it there wants to keep it). -John Nephew President, Atlas Games
