I have a question about the Holy Magic mechanics presented in “The Divine”.

Can hermetic holy magi make magical enchantments whit the restrictions and the benefits of holy magic?

The making of invested items and lesser enchantments is not mentioned in the description of holy magic but at pag. 138 in the Craft Amulet skill description there’s a phrase: “Greater amulets allow the character to produce charged items based on holy powers, something that is not normally possible.”

If holy magic doesn’t allow enchanting devices why this is not listed among the restrictions?

underneith the heading "benefits" on page 69 it says "Holy magi can cast holy spells that...". It doesn't say anything about magic items that use the methods and powers.

It isn't listed as an ability that holy magi recieve.

I'm of the opinion that Holy magic should be a minor virtue rather than a major virtue. It is similar to Faerie magic (the character's magic is compatable with a second realm and they get a big collection of new range/ duration/ targets to play with) with the single addition that they can cast spells using the guidelines for methods and powers. yet the charater does not gain any methods or powers when they take the virtue. The methods and powers need to be take seperately. Also a holy magus recieves a healthy collection of restrictions that the Merinita does not.

I'm not sure what you mean. Can holy magi enchant items? Yes; they're magi, so they can do everything that magi can do unless it goes against the restrictions of being a holy magus. I suspect that the item wouldn't work if it were used for sin, though. Can they make enchanted items that use the guidelines associated with Holy Methods and Powers? No, because that's not one of the benefits of holy magic, and anyway enchanting items works differently than using holy powers. When you use a holy power, you're basically casting a Ritual. Holy magi can incorporate these Rituals into their magic, but items can't ever include Ritual effects, so they can't do that. They can enchant magical devices within the Dominion, though, and use holy vis to do it.
