Moist?, Half Ooze Graviturgy Wizard
Played by Krishna “Goose” Rajesh
Moist? is a half-ooze whose first memory is waking up in the ocean. From hazy memories, it put together that its original host was a prehistoric marine biologist who dove a little too deep and ran afoul of a strange species of underwater ooze. From its host, Moist? inherited a ravenous hunger for knowledge. From its sire, it inherited a ravenous hunger for … everything else.
They clambered out of the ocean and wandered the land, seeking to learn everything they could about a world entirely alien and beautiful to them, while sustaining the endless hunger of a half-ooze.
Luckily, they were found by Bear Clan, and this Clan of Abundance took them in. With the support of its new community, Moist? was able to throw itself into its studies, learning the forbidden arts of spellskins and using the ink within its membranes to sketch out runes on its body, lack of written language be damned!
Moist? knows that its time in Planegea is limited, and is determined to learn about everything this world has to offer while they’re still around.
What do you like best about playing your character?
"I enjoy the dynamic of a character who is intelligent but not knowledgeable. Intelligence isn’t an intrinsic part of one’s being, no matter how it’s statted out in DnD! It’s a muscle you have to exercise over and over through being curious about the world and constantly seeking new things to discover. If there’s anything I’d want to emulate about Moist? in my real life, it would be their endless love for learning and the joy they take in living every day."
What directions do you see your character going as they level up?
"Moist? is going to go as far as they can as a wizard, learning as many spells as possible regardless of their use or practicality. The tattoos on their body will soon become a tapestry taking over most of their skin."
If your character survives the campaign, what's their dream retirement?
"Moist? would love to travel! It knows that its time on Planegea is limited, and it wants to try as many things as possible. However, at the end of their journey, I imagine them going back out to sea to study marine biology, picking up where their host left off."
