The Most Miserable Fellowship: What is Munchkin Gloom?
Adventuring is hard work. It's not all stuffing gold coins into your bag of holding and making gourmet stew over an open fire.
Munchkin Gloom tells the stories of the tragic heroes who couldn't kick down the door, discovered the duck of doom, and didn't live to tell the tale afterwards. Inevitably, these not-so-hardy adventurers will perish in pain, and isn't that fun? Find out in Munchkin Gloom.
Munchkin Gloom can be played alone or combined with the Gloom second edition core game and any of its expansions.
Dungeon Delvers: Gameplay Basics
In Munchkin Gloom, each player selects their semi-intrepid adventurers and places Modifier cards on them to make them miserable (and on other players' cards to make them horribly happy). Learn exactly how Sir Hacksalot grappled with the gummi golem and met the gazebo's gaze. Will he meet with an unhappy ending? We hope so!
As in the other Gloom games, Munchkin Gloom features unique transparent cards that stack atop each other to hide and reveal the Self-Worth scores from the cards below. The easy scoring and amusing fantasy art are guaranteed to make players tragically happy.
The game ends when all of your adventurers have met their maker. The player with the most tragic failures wins the game!
