Our Newest Game: Fairytale Mash-ups Releases Today

Published by: Amelia Rengo

Fairytale Mash-ups, the newest expansion for Once Upon a Time, releases today. In Fairytale Mash-ups, everything you remember from childhood tales blends into mixed-up stories where the Gingerbread Man shoves the dish aside and runs away with the spoon himself. It’s compatible with Once Upon a Time and all its other expansions.

Once Upon a Time is a collaborative and competitive storytelling game. Each player has a hand of unique storytelling elements and one ending card. The object of the game is to use all the storytelling elements in your hand to spin a tale, then use your ending card to conclude the story. It sounds easier than it is, though — other players can interrupt you and take control of the story, leading it in a different direction toward their ending. Whoever uses all their cards and ends the story is the winner.
