Heartland Builders Showcase Features Replay Workshop

Published by: Audrey DeLuca

Replay Workshop is featured on the Heartland Builder Showcase! It's a really big deal for us, and we're thrilled that we can now share our video submission! (Scroll to the very bottom.)

Heartland Forward is an entrepreneurial action group that sponsors research and programs that stimulate business creation in the US central states. Our Replay Workshop studio was one of the few selected to receive a $5000 grant from Heartland Forward's Builders + Backers Idea Accelerator program last year, and now they're hosting the Heartland Builder Showcase. We're honored to receive their recognition, and we're excited that so many other people believe in Replay Workshop's efforts toward producing recycled plastic game products.

As our president John Nephew says in our video, "The world has a plastics crisis. Countless tons of consumer plastics that can be recycled now go to landfill, are incinerated, or otherwise pollute the environment. In collaboration with our neighbors, local businesses, and regional governments, Replay Workshop is diverting plastic waste that was otherwise going to landfill, to make upcycled game accessories and other products."

The showcase means so much to us at Atlas Games, especially with our Kickstarter for InFUNity tiles ENDING Thursday!

You can help us reach our goal of recycling 5,000lbs of plastic by backing the campaign by Thurs Nov 16th at 5pm CST.
