Hoghead Days & Replay Workshop on Saturday - Come and Visit!

Published by: John Nephew

This week is the annual Hoghead Days festival here in small town Proctor, Minnesota. The Hoghead is a big train engine; Proctor is known for its historic rail yards, connecting the Duluth port down the hill with the mines of the Iron Range up north. In fact, the Atlas Games warehouse is in the old Duluth Missabe & Iron Range maintenance buildings, used a hundred years ago to repair and maintain the cars that carried ore from the mines to the lakers, and on to the industrial foundries and factories of the lower Great Lakes.

Saturday is the day of the parade and street vendors, and we'll be opening the doors of Replay Workshop at 408 3rd Ave from 10 AM to 4 PM to show off the Atlas Games line and the things we're doing with recycled plastic. We'll be happy to sell things, to talk about plastics recycling, and we'll have our little benchtop injection molder set up to demonstrate how we can make new dice and keychains from plastic waste.

If you're in the Duluth area, stop on by and visit!
